The Brevard Zoo, which is located in Melbourne, Florida is a 75 acre zoo featuring over 900 animals. The zoo first opened in 1994 with over 16,000 people contributing in some way or another to help build the zoo. The zoo currently gets nearly a half million visitors per year.
