The Isaiah Davenport House is a historic home built in Savannah, Georgia in 1820. As time passed, the once dignified home in a popular neighborhood turned into a run-down boarding house in a shabby part of town. A restoration followed and the home was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Finally, after restoration, the home opened to the public as a museum in 1963.
