The EarlyWorks Children’s Museum is the largest hands-on children’s museum in the south. The 50,000 square foot facility was opened in 1998. Tours of the museum are self guided, allowing visitors to proceed at their own pace. Some of the highlights of the museum include a talking clock, a General Store where visitors can pretend to trade their goods, a Victorian house, and a working cotton gin.
